Bishop Dr. Alford Miller

True Life Ministry was founded by Late Bishop Dr. Alford Miller. Dr. Miller was born and raised in Portland Jamaica, West Indies. He migrated to the USA In 1987, and a year later came to know the Lord Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. In 1988, he attended the Tabernacle of Prayer Bible Institute in Queens, New York. He later served in the New Testament Church of God as a Sunday school teacher and assistant president of the Outreach Mission Board. In addition, he served on the Pastor’s Council Board for eighteen years under the leadership of his Pastors, Rev. Dr. Jeremiah McIntyre, Dr. Martin Wright, Rev. Dr. Joseph Jackson and Rev. Dr. Jocelyn Williams.

In 1992 Late Bishop Miller accepted the call to ministry and attended the Hartford Seminary, where he received a degree in Theology. He went on to achieve his exhorter license in 1995 and in 1997 he obtained his credential as a licensed minister of the gospel.

In 2003, Late Bishop Miller began pastoring a small church on Orange Street in Hartford. In 2004, he founded True Life Ministry (a name given to him by the Holy Spirit). Late Bishop Miller has traveled to various places over the years preaching the gospel, feeding the hungry and clothing the naked. These missions included travels to places such as Jamaica, Africa, Haiti as well as throughout the United States of America.

In 1996, he miraculously met his soul mate, who became his best friend and wife, the lovely Princess Allison Miller. 

They were married for over 25 years. Together they have five beautiful children; Elijah, Bruce, Sonnett, Jewel, and Abijah.

Over the years, the late Bishop Miller traveled extensively preaching the gospel, feeding the hungry, and clothing the needy. His missionary journeys took him to Jamaica, Africa, Haiti, and various parts of the United States, where he ministered with passion and compassion.

In 1996, he miraculously met his soul mate and best friend, the lovely Princess Allison Miller, who would become his beloved wife and ministry partner. Together, they were blessed with five beautiful children: Elijah, Bruce, Sonnett, Jewel, and Abijah.

Until his passing, Bishop Miller faithfully served as the Senior Pastor of True Life Ministry, alongside his devoted wife, Reverend Princess Miller, who continues to carry the vision forward with grace and purpose.
